well, the new boiler seemed to be done, but now it's not done. looks like one more cold shower for me tomorrow morning. #
the penguins cup clinching win in 1992 over the blackhawks is on the nhl network. my nips are just as hard now as they were then. #
today, our 7 yr old turns 8! she had toaster waffles for breakfast. no candles in them but, honestly, i think they're actually made of wax. #
good news – coco the electrician is in the house! time to put the finishing touches on the new boiler… #

the best thing about getting a new boiler is that new boiler smell. #

more boiler work today, plus another skin doc appt. i'm gonna ask about getting a skin transplant; i'd like something less translucent. #
i swear the kids must blow snot rockets at the windows here in the house when i'm not looking. #
the boiler install is ahead of schedule! hot water may be back tonight – meaning the chumworths may all get to bathe again soon. #

the electrician's assistant working on the boiler is a guy named coco. i'm not paying extra for that. #

the new boiler has arrived. this is more exciting than i thought it would be. #
one downside to the new boiler install: no hot water for the next two days. warning: i may get a little overripe in the next day or two. #
the plumber and crew are taking a snack break from installing the new boiler. i'm not paying them to do that. #
the new boiler install continues. right now, it sounds like the house is getting a colonoscopy. #
facebook is currently recommending to me that i like michael jackson and the dallas cowboys. double major fail, douchebags. #

i surprised mz chumworth by rotating all the mattresses while she was gone. frankly, she wasn't as impressed as she should've been. #
based on the smell of my fellow train commuters, today is apparently "douse yourself in cologne or perfume day." my sinus cavities are numb. #
there's something new about me today. here's a hint: it's north of my navel, but south of my hairline. #
i like my coffee bold – like my women. #
