Al Roker. He’s not only America’s favorite weatherman, he’s also one of David Letterman‘s favorite joke topics. For example, back in April I wrote this joke that Dave told:
It was a stormy day here New York City today.
The weather was so bad that Al Sharpton called for the firing of Al Roker.
Last October I wrote this one that Dave told:
It was a beautiful day today in New York City.
It was so nice today that ex-Congressman Mark Foley was sending inappropriate emails to Al Roker.
See a pattern here?
So, when the news came down that Isiah Thomas and Madison Square Garden were guilty of sexually harassing and firing a female employee, I wrote this joke which Dave told on Thursday’s Late Show (10/4/07):
It was a nice day today here in New York City today.
It was so nice today that Isiah Thomas sexually harassed Al Roker.

Don’t take it personally, Al – it’s done out of love!
